Sector 9 J-Bay longboard

The Sector 9 J-bay longboard is a great board whether you're looking for a carver, cruiser, light bombing, or light sliding board. I've found the J-bay to be super comfortable on those long treks across towns, it's actually my friends board but he let me test it out for a couple of days. The mild "W" shaped concave conformed nicely to my feet and kept my feet locked in without the feeling of discomfort that I've found some harsh "W" concaves to give. The board also has a slight camber and is decently flexible for pumping through town and that surfy feel that a lot of flexible boards give.

One of the greastest things about the J-bay is the Bamboo, which not only looks sweet in my opinion but is great for the environment and is actually quite durable, in fact, could even be more durable than most wood. My friend has had this board for quite some time, and it still hasn't given into that sagging or dead feel that flexible boards especially can give into. He's riding this setup with Gullwing Chargers, Sector 9 wheels, and reds bearings, however if you plan to use it for cruising and carving exclusively I would suggest trying out some gullwing sidewinders, but the chargers are excellent and even though the board isn't strongly suited for downhill boarding we were riding it down our favorite hill yesterday at 30+ mph. I recommend the J-Bay to anyone looking for a solid cruising or carving board, that can still stick it to some hills if you're into downhill at all.
